Nearly 5 years after Microsoft released Office 2011 for the Mac, a new version of the productivity suite is available — albeit only in preview form. The updated suite, called Office 2016 for Mac, includes revamped versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with minor updates of the previously released OneNote and Outlook.

Microsoft announced a new public preview version of Office 2016 at Ignite in Chicago, and with a few clicks, anyone can get the installer on their computers. But luckily, we made it even easier. Office 2016 for Mac gets first public preview. Microsoft has released a preview of its updated Office suite for Mac OS 10.10 users. The official version is due out around the middle of the year.
